Located in the Heart of Colonial Williamsburg is The Peanut Shop of Williamsburg of Williamsburg, the place where our own "founding fathers" began. It was in that tiny shop where our small batch, handcooked roasting techniques were developed & perfected. While the shop is still there, we have long since moved our roasting kitchen to larger confines just north of Williamsburg while staying true to our original cooking traditions. Although there has been many changes since the Williamsburg shop first opened its doors, what hasn't changed is the extraordinary, crunchy flavor resulting from time honored roasting methods. Peanut Shop peanuts will achieve their legendary flavor and crunchiness as a result of time honored cooking practices. We begin with only premium quality, super extra large Virginia peanuts, hand selected for their size. These peanuts are first water blanched, which gives them their fresh & unique crunchiness, and then small bunch roasted in 100% pure peanut oil under direct supervision of our Roastmaster. They are carefully vaccuum packaged and held in our climatized storage facility and then shipped directly to you; only when you, our valued customers, need them.
