All Customer Reviews - Reviews for "TABASCO Original Pepper Sauce "

These are the Customer reviews we have received for TABASCO Original Pepper Sauce , most recent first.

Even before my chilli head days I found this sauce to be vastly over rated. It is way too thin, has a very bitter flavour and has about as much heat as an arctic bear stuck in an glacier. Obviously loads of people love it but just not for me. - Stuart Sweeting
Taste Opinion: OK Heat Opinion: Wimp

Tastes great, but after a few times it isn't even hot anymore -
Taste Opinion: Very Good Heat Opinion: Mild

Just doesn't have the punch it used to years ago. The flavor is there but is overpowered by too much vinegar making it an awkward tasting and poorly blended mess. Its like an old engine that needs a tuneup but shouldn't be hauled to the junkyard yet - Sw
Taste Opinion: OK Heat Opinion: Wimp

Delicious sauce but very little heat. -
Taste Opinion: DIVINE !! Heat Opinion: Wimp

Once everyone's go-to "hot sauce", it's now just chilli-flavoured vinegar and little more; no heat and there are far tastier sauces out there that offer much more. It's good to add to home-made veg soup where the vinegar hit counters the sweetness. - ChilliCthulhu
Taste Opinion: OK Heat Opinion: Wimp

Hotter than my standby, Frank's, but still with good flavor. Between the two of them, I'm covered. - Firefly
Taste Opinion: Good Heat Opinion: Medium

I like heat, and I have made my own hot sauce. This is great for mild hot heads, but if you want real heat, stay away. Great flavor though. -
Taste Opinion: Very Good Heat Opinion: Mild

tabasco sauce is the best. It blows texas pete and franks away by a landslide. This is the best hot sauce in the world. -
Taste Opinion: DIVINE !! Heat Opinion: Hot

This stuff is just Vinegar with a little chili flavoring and a bit of wood aging taste. I guess it is ok.. it's certainly not hot or really even warm.. If you like this on eggs try Marie Sharps sauces from mild to extreme.. they are sooo much better. -
Taste Opinion: OK Heat Opinion: Wimp

I am still convinced Tabaso was developed to sprinkle on eggs; cooked any way. Nothing works better! - Randy
Taste Opinion: DIVINE !! Heat Opinion: Hot

a good sauce for kicking things up a notch. i ofen use it on biscuits and gravy. mixes well with honey mustard to make a good sweet-hot mustard. - ratdude747
Taste Opinion: Good Heat Opinion: Hot

I started out with this stuff and now go through a small bottle every coupla weeks. It's the flavour I enjoy but the heat factor has rapidly diminished. I'll be trying a stiffer sauce soon. I just hope to find a good flavour dominating. - john
Taste Opinion: Very Good Heat Opinion: Mild

Too mild to have a real effect on the hotness of your food. I sometimes use it for my dry eyes when I'm out of Visine! Cheaper than eye drops too. - Bob C
Taste Opinion: Grim Heat Opinion: Wimp
