Haiti is Hot! Nap Boule Papaya Pepper
Made from the freshest Piman Bouk peppers grown in the fields of Haiti, measured raw at the spicy rate of 124,000 Scoville Heat Units.
Made in the USA but with the full involvement of the Haitian community and all Haitian products, the trade directly benefits Haiti and its rebuilding after the devastating earthquake of January 2010.
2011 International Scovie Awards, 2nd Place Winner, Hot Sauce - World Beat Category.
Ingredients: Carrots, onions, papaya, Orange Habañero pepper, Haitain grapefruit juice, distilled vinegar, Key Lime juice, kosher salt, light brown sugar, & garlic.
Papaya is a delightful fruit grown all over Haiti. Our papaya sauce contains other locally-grown ingredients, including Chadeque, which is a sweet local variety of grapefruit, and sugar cane sugar, for which Haiti is so well known. Combined with the fiery Piman Bouk pepper, our Papaya Sauce has a deep red color and a XXX heat level...it is hot!
