Chilli Chocolate Sauce - Mole Poblano

A real classic mole from Mexico. Contains the holy trinity of ancho, mulato and pasilla chillis along with a range of spices, onions, tomatoes and lashings of dark Belgian chocolate. It is a savoury sauce for making the famous dark moles of Oaxaca state in southern Mexico.

Used in the celebratory meal of Mole de Oaxaca it is added to chicken and turkey stews to make a rich & silky sauce. Fantastic for turkey left overs at christmas. Its a 3/10 on the heat scale.

Ingredients: Ancho peppers, Mulato peppers, pasilla peppers, Onions, Tomatoes, Chocolate, Spices.
