Foods was founded in 1991 with the desire to become 'a manufacturer
of innovative Caribbean-style food products of the highest
quality'. It has certainly achieved this with an unparalleled
diversity of products, who else could have dreamt up Banana
Ketchup?
The company are based at Vieux Fort on the island of St.
Lucia in the Eastern Caribbean. Their products are familiar
on the island and throughout the Caribbean. Baron Foods though
have always set their sites on the  International
market and from the outset the organisation has developed
with servicing that market in mind. Now, its modern facilities,
to international FDA and European standards, offer products
of consistent and high quality. As they say at Baron Foods

Vieux Fort is the industrial capital of St. Lucia and Baron
Foods are now a significant employer in the area.  Previously
the region was known as the sugar capital of St. Lucia and
before that infamous thanks to the notorious activities of
the pirate Blackbeard, giving his name to the popular tourist
destination close-by, Black Bay. Despite having built a state-of-the-art
production facility and conquered world markets with their
superb products the Managing Director Ronald Ramjattan says
"there are many tasks that remain for us to achieve and
we are committed to accomplishing even more". Can they
come up with something more exotic than Banana Ketchup?
