The festival will feature hot sauces, salsas, marinades, chips, dips, jellies, spices, pepper items and more spicy offerings. Thousands of attendees sample 100s of products from award winning vendor booths from as far away as Seatle, Arizona, Ohio, Louisiana, Florida and of course – Texas. With Hottest Hot Sauce at the Festival competition, beware the experts take this competition seriously!

The 2011 Tampere organised chilifest in Finland brought more than 20,000 visitors over 2 days to the city central square. Hokitika Wildfoods Festival |

The 2011 event saw about 10,000 people from all over the country descended on tiny 3,400-population Hokitika on the West Coast of the South Island for the annual event. Attending the festival, now in its 22nd year, has become a traditional rite for students. About 65 food stalls plied the festival patrons with palate-challenging fare, from chocolate-dipped chillies to stallion semen protein shots!
